Weight Planner to calculate possible weight loss after weight loss surgery  

This program offers a very rough estimate of how your weight might change after weight loss surgery. You can control it by indicating what percentage of excess weight you plan on losing. NOTE: This is only an educational tool. No one can predict how their weight will actually change.

BMI = Body Mass Index
Being overweight is obviously a product of both how much you weigh plus how tall you are. Using these two things, researchers have put together a formula for standardizing the extent of overweight. Typical BMI may be from 25 to 30. Individuals with a BMI over 40 may qualify for bariatric surgery.
